There were celebrations in South Africa today to mark the 100 day countdown to World Cup 2010. OK, yes, 100 is just an arbitrary number. There’s no real reason to celebrate 100 days to World Cup kickoff anymore than there is to celebrate 102 days to World Cup kickoff. I suppose 100 is just a nice round number.
But somehow this feels good. I think maybe because 100 days is short enough to make the tournament feel close. Soon 100 will be 50, then 10, then just one, and then… kickoff. Is anyone else suddenly a bit excited?

It is the Pakistani cricketers who are supposed to be erratic and unpredictable, disappointing one day and enthralling the next. But this time the Pakistan hockey team seems to be following a similar path at the 2010 Hockey World Cup now underway in India.
On the opening day of the tournament, Pakistan had lost decisively to hosts and arch-rivals India 4-1. Although neither country is today the hockey powerhouse it once was, Pakistan was totally overwhelmed by India. Placed in a pool that also has favorites Australia, Olympic silver-medalists Spain and England, this would have ordinarily have meant that Pakistan’s chances for a semi-final slot had nearly vanished entirely.
This, however, was not to be.
First, England pulled a stunning surprise 3-2 victory against Australia and then, in what is probably a bigger surprise, Pakistan edged out a 2-1 victory against Spain. Meanwhile, Australia has come back with a vengeance beating hosts India 5-2 in their second game.
Put together, all of this means that Pakistan is still very much in the game.
It means that, but really not much more than that. There is much more to go and none of this changes who the favorites are or the fact that the odds are still against Pakistan making it to the semi-finals, let alone winning the tournament. What it does mean is that we remain in the game, at least until our next encounter – with England on Thursday.
Good luck, Pakistan.
P.S… for those yearning for Pakistan’s glory days in hockey, may we recommend this past post on Abdul Waheed Khan; and for those who recall how the beginning of the end felt like, we strongly recommend this hockey humor video from Khalid Abbas Dar and friends – a performance that I had originally described as “the funniest hockey humor ever!”
Hockey World Cup 2010: India vs Australia Live, live scores, streaming, Watch Live, Highlights, Results, Ind vs Aus
Hockey World Cup 2010: India vs Australia Live, live scores, streaming, Watch Live, Highlights, Results, Ind vs Aus – Enjoyed yesterday’s matches in Hockey World Cup 2010, yesterday we had Pool A matches, in which New Zealand beat Canada with 3-2, and in another match Germany and Korea had a tie with 2-2 and Netherlands beat Argentina with 3-2.
Today is Pool B day, earlier we had watched a very interesting match that was between South Africa and England, and Eng won that match with 6-2. Pakistan has lost their last match from India, but today Pakistan had a match with Spain and won that match with 2-1.
Another very interesting match for today is here, and its between India v Australia. India has won their last match from Pakistan with 3-1. And Australia has lost their last match from England with 3-2. So obviously Australia is in pressure for today’s match. Let see who will win this match. Best of luck to both the teams. We will update this post with the latest scores. So guys stay and enjoy Hockey World Cup 2010 India vs Australia.

- Germany vs Argentina Live Streaming
The live online stream commentary and live online radio broadcast international friendly match between Germany and Argentina at Allianz Arena will have the hosts begin as favourites to beat their South American rivals mainly due to having a better coach. Germany will be well organised and their players will know what each of them has to do in this live international friendly online streaming football game while Argentina will continue to be led by Diego Maradona who simply tells his players to go out and play football. The greater strategic strengths of the hosts will deliver the desired outcome in the live streaming commentary and live online TV telecast international friendly match between Germany and Argentina at Allianz Arena and they might embarrass their rivals greatly.
Watch as Argentina will need to convince Maradona to get his act together in the live commentary and live streaming radio broadcast international friendly match between Germany and Argentina at Allianz Arena or they will be humiliated come the World Cup 2010 finals. Argentina were already very fortunate to have qualified for South Africa and in this international friendly live online streaming soccer game they will definitely be torn apart by the efficient and well drilled Germany team. They might have the more talented individuals like Lionel Messi and Aguero in the live stream commentary and live streaming TV telecast international friendly match between Germany and Argentina at Allianz Arena but as a team they fall very far behind.

Andreas
Hat die Arena Deine architektonischen Erwartungen erfüllt?
Gerhard
Der Bau ist sehr eindrucksvoll – von außen. Die beleuchteten Waben …
Sighild
… vor dem violetten Nachthimmel …
Gerhard
… das ist schon sehr schön. Von innen aber macht sie nichts her.
Andreas
Welchen Eindruck hattet Ihr von dem Umfeld des Stadions?
Sighild
Gerhard
Ja, da hat man schon Respekt …
Sighild
Andreas
Beim letzten Länderspiel warst Du also für Spanien?
Gerhard
Ja.
Andreas
Das Spiel hat Dir also gefallen?
Johannes
Da musste man aufpassen, was man sagt. Sonst wurde man gleich blöd angeschaut.
Andreas
Wie gefällt Dir die Arena?
Horst
Die müssten da was machen!
Andreas
Das sehe ich auch so. – Und wie war Dein Eindruck vom Spiel?
Horst
Net so toll. Bayern halt.
Andreas
Liebe Familie Vabitsch, lieber Horst – herzlichen Dank für Eure Zeit und die aufschlussreichen Gespräche!

Truly she is a mother, but I would guess that many of the other woman & men present at this party are parents, Including Terrell Owens.
SO What– If you're a parent you're somehow eliminated from having a good time at a pool party? Where are those rules written?
It looks as if she is dancing, which in NOT CRIMINAL. Personally it's not something that I would do, but everybody is different. Also I didn't see any children in this video.
STOP Judging other people to make yourself look or feel better.
Most people have been trained & conditioned to look at other people lives and criticize them on a standard that we don't uphold to.
So she's dancing! No big deal. I don't know her but she'll reap the blessings or the burdens of all the decisions she makes in her life
PEACE…

Anne Hathaway, Tom Sherak announced the 2010 Best Picture nominees
Anne Hathaway, 2009 best actress nominee for Rachel Getting Married, and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president Tom Sherak announced the nominees in the top categories of the 2010 Academy Awards at a “nominations event” held at 5:30 a.m. PT Tuesday at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.
There were no major surprises this year, though some eyebrows were raised (and there was some clapping, too) when the John Lee Hancock-directed Sandra Bullock vehicle The Blind Side was named one of the ten nominees. The other nine are: James Cameron’s Avatar, Neill Blomkamp’s District 9, Lone Scherfig’s An Education, Kathryn Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker, Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, Lee Daniels‘ Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire, Joel and Ethan Coen’s A Serious Man, Pete Docter’s Up and Jason Reitman’s Up in the Air.
The two favorites this year are the sci-fi adventure Avatar and the Iraq War drama The Hurt Locker. Each has nine nominations, including best director. The Hurt Locker was also shortlisted in the best original screenplay and best actor (Jeremy Renner) categories.

Seriously…I don’t get what all the brouhaha is about regarding the latest issue of Sports Illustrated. Cover girl Lindsey Vonn is merely photographed bent over, skiing downhill and looking fabulous! Get a grip people! That’s considered lewd or risque?
You can see the photo in question here.
With the tag line on the mag ‘America’s Best Woman Skier Ever’, she certainly lives up to that title. I mean c’mon – how many World Cup titles does she have under her belt? 30! Incredible for this 25-year-old hottie who hails from Minnesota and now makes her home in Vail, Colorado. And of course, she’s in the lead in super combined and overall World Cup points.
She is pretty much a shoo in for Olympic Gold, the question is, how many will she win? She is tapped to compete in the Downhill, Super Combined, Super-G, Slalom and Giant Slalom events. This is her third Olympic appearance, in 2002 she placed sixth in the Combined.
At the 2006 Olympics, while in practice just a day before the Downhill event, she took a nasty spill and suffered a bruised hip. She ended up in eighth place.
Lindsey had a bit of a scare in December, when she crashed during the Giant Slalom event at the World Cup in Lienz, Austria. She ended up with a bruised bone on her left arm. It was originally thought and widely reported that she had broken her arm, thus dashing any Olympic hopes for the beauty, but thank goodness that was not the case!
Undoubtedly she will be the one to watch at these Games. Can she pull off a Michael Phelps at the Vancouver Games? She may be able to grab gold in all the events she participates in, just like Phelps did in Beijing.
So with the Olympic opening ceremonies just a week away, we wish the Sports Illustrated cover girl, Lindsey Vonn, best of luck in all of her events! If you’re clamoring for more pictures of this beautiful blonde, check out an awesome slide show of her here, otherwise look below for more plus video!

Product Review: Canon EOS 400D/Rebel XTI Digital Camera
I must have one of these new digital cameras for kids called the Kid-Tough Digital Camera from the geniuses at Fisher Price, who obviously know enough about rowdy Ansel Adams would-be kids to develop a kid-tough digital camera strong enough to withstand bumps and bruises.
The Kid-Tough Digital Camera is the first real, live, working digital camera made just for preschoolers in its size and functioning, allowing the little hands to lay off Mommy and Daddy's high-priced digital cameras for ones of their very own. The digital cameras come in pink, blue and red and are already creeping over $100 in price from resellers.
Fisher Price obviously also knows enough about us material-hungry parents raising pride-producing pint-sized Picassos (strike that, he was loony), miniature Georgia O'Keefes (yes, I know they were both painters – you got the Ansel Adams reference above, right?) to know that we'll drop untold bucks on a new toy instead of our mounting credit card debt to make for happy and prodigious munchkins.

Over the past few months I have been carefully considering investing in a HD video recording solution. At first I thought that it would be much too expensive with most HD equipment far exceeding my basic recording needs and indeed my budget. The GeekCaster News Network and GeekCaster Store however both need HD video elements to support development, with e-learning development and indeed blog entries such as product reviews also benefiting from it’s availability. I was left in something of a pickle as to how to solve the problem. At Christmas I discovered the wonders of portable HD recorders and went to Belfast to try and acquire either a Flip Mino HD or a Kodak Zi8. Thankfully I discovered in time that the Flip records files in .wmv format (terrible when I develop on Mac) and unfortunately the Kodak Zi8 was nowhere to be found : (
Somewhat dejected I decided to leave it for a few weeks and reevaluate my options, the more I researched the concept the more I came to the conclusion that the Kodak Zi8 was hands down the best option available. Affordable at £150 yet providing true HD 1080p recording capability – yes please!! The Kodak Zi8 is one of a new generation of mini-camcorder that is designed to make it incredibly easy to shoot, share and enjoy high quality full HD1080p video. It is compact in it’s design, easily fitting into my messenger bag, yet allows for 1080p, 720 60fps, 720 30fps, VGA recording and offers 5MP still image acquisition.
The biggest advantage of the high resolution is that it’ll look great when blown up. This isn’t so important if you only view video on a small window on your PC screen but with the Zi8 footage you can scale the video to full screen and retain image sharpness, for the best possible picture the Zi8 has HDMI connectivity so you view the videos on your HDTV. Both HDMI and standard composite cables are included in the box. On the go you can view your clips on the very usable 2.5 inch LCD screen and find the best bits using the four speeds of fast forward and rewind, up to x16, or simply go forward or back frame by frame. Unlike many similar products the Zi8 features a macro mode for shooting close up. It also has a built in mic and speaker to capture and playback sound and the addition of an external microphone jack means you have the option to record in glorious stereo, great for playback on your HDTV. A high speed processor adjusts exposure and autofocus quickly and with smart face tracking technology and built in image stabilisation you’ll enjoy the best possible quality razor sharp footage.
The Zi8 has an SD card slot which can take upto a 32GB SDHC card good for up to an incredible 10 hours of video at HD 30fps (1GB = 20mins). A step up from AA batteries, the Zi8 is powered by a rechargeable Li-Ion battery which delivers a longer record time and can be charged both from a mains socket or via a USB. It really is a very comprehensive device that will cater for all my HD video production needs.
Why all this talk about it I hear you ask : ) well that would be because I have just ordered one from Amazon!! In fact it was dispatched this morning so fingers crossed tomorrow or Wednesday it will arrive.

Add the Alien Quadrilogy Starring Sigourney Weaver to Your DVD Collection
When taking a look at all the kinds of different DVD players, one will quickly realize there is a large selection of brands that you've never heard of before, along with a few cheap ones from main brands like Sony and Panasonic. Prices are within a very wide range, from less than one hundred dollars to over one thousand. With all the different kinds of DVD players out there on the market, it can be difficult to find out which one is right for you. This guide will try to slim down the selection for DVD players that are within anybody's price range.
Important factors one should look out before purchasing a DVD player is the price, the features it comes with, the size, ease of use, and the quality. Surprisingly, there are quite a number of DVD players out there which are affordable but get the job done surprisingly well. However, if you're looking for a DVD player that can play high definition, be realistic and don't expect to find one under one hundred dollars.
The types of features that DVD players can come with are quite daunting. There's single-disc DVD players, multi-disc DVD players, HD-DVD players, VCR-DVD combo players, and more. With the price range that we're dealing with, it's likely only going to be a standard single-disc DVD player.
A good idea to begin with is to look at the websites of various electronic stores such as Amazon and BestBuy. Here you can arrange their selection of DVD players by price and then see what features each one has. Next, when you see the possible products out there that will fit your needs and have the features you really want, start to look online for consumer reviews of the product.
Consumer reviews are one of the best ways to read about electronics such as DVD players, as often enough you can almost immediately see if it's a DVD player worth buying or one that becomes a piece of junk as soon as you plug it in. One that immediately caught my eye is the Philips DVP642. At only $55, it has over 600 reviews on Amazon with a 4-star rating. However, it's a good idea to look at negative reviews of the product and see what people who weren't happy with it had to say. There were some reviews that say that the DVD player died in just a few months and that one should get an extended warranty to make sure it doesn't die on you too. Depending on whether or not you're willing to take that kind of risk on the life of the DVD player, it might be better to just pick up the Sony DVP-NS55P.
Though it doesn't seem to be a very popular selling DVD player (probably because people buy higher-end players or the Philips DVP642), consumer reviews seen at Epinions and Bizrate were praising it. I couldn't find one truly negative review of it. The picture quality is said to be great and it's very lightweight. It keeps appearing on various sites as the best affordable DVD player (and one that you can trust) and it's just a mere $70.
I recently decided to purchase the Sony DVP-NS55P when my PlayStation 2, which I had previously used to watch movies, was starting to get a little too old and would sometimes start skipping. So far the Sony DVP-NS55P DVD player is great and has had no problems at all. It's lighter than I imagined and really skinny too. The remote control it comes with is practical and the picture quality is even better than that seen on my PlayStation 2.
The price range of DVD players varies quite a bit and although many players get many reviews, you should become cautious when you start seeing multiple reviews saying that a DVD player dies after a few months. If you just take some time to do some internet research and look at consumer reviews, you can really find out what you need. But if you're still not positive on which one to get, it might be good to go to electronic stores in person and see for yourself what the DVD players can do.

How long will sony keep their 80GB PS3 on store shelves? – how long will sony camcorder battery last
Every time I on a site retail (Wal-Mart, Target, Circuit City) There's always something with the image of the concert of 80, said: “For a limited time.

if it is for limited time to talk about a price reduction or a product that is limited?
A Quick Review of Sony’s Latest Camcorders
One of Sony’s 2009 releases would be the Sony HDR-CX500V. This Sony machine is a high-definition camcorder charged with features like a 12mp still image capture, back-illuminated 1/2.88″ “Exmor R” CMOS image sensor with ClearVid™ array, Professional-quality Sony® G Lens, Optical SteadyShot™ image stabilization with Active Mode and 3-Way Shake Canceling, 12X Optical, 150X Digital Zoom, 32GB flash memory and geotagging. Thanks to such a huge feature-pack and a inexpensive price tag, it is hard to pass over on this wonderful performing machine.
Its older sibling, the Sony HDR-CX520V sports capabilities synonymous to that of the Sony HDR-CX500V except it has two times the amount of flash memory. With these two very much the same camcorders among competitors, videographers are able to choose from a wide variety.
Made available in the 1st quarter of 2009, Sony’s HDR-CX100 is a low-end high-definition camcorder which is charged with functions like 8GB internal flash memory or optional Memory Stick Pro DUO memory card, 10x optical zoom, a 1/5″ Exmor™ CMOS image sensor with ClearVid™ array, Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar® lens with SteadyShot™ image stabilization, face detection, Smile Shutter, manual focus, exposure and white balance adjustments among many others. Sony’s unconventional gadget also encompasses a 2.7″ touchscreen LCD display and comes in 3 colors – silver, black or red. Despite being colossal and heavyset in comparison with its fellow camcorders, the Sony HDR-CX100 is highly receptive and powers up in a split second. This Sony piece of equipment provides high quality video at a significantly reasonable price tag.

The Sony Bloggie HD camcorder with an swiveling USB 2.0 connector is getting a new accessory, a panorama lens add-on that can take 360 degree movies. It looks like a little siren, and requires the lens to be tilted straight up; the images will also only make sense once uploaded to the updated version of the software. The movies can be edited to zoom in on certain parts of the panorama or viewed ultra-wide screen. The bundled software should provide a number of different options for working with such a wide view. The 1080p H.264 video is recorded onto Memory Stick Duo media. The Bloggie's regular lens already swivels 270 degrees to ease video angles and let you view yourself if you are vlogging. The snap-on 360 lens should be available as an accessory, but is currently only available as a kit including the camera. The 360 kit only ups the price $20 over the camera-only package. It's available now at SonyStyle for those interested. Via ZDNet

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising for the Xbox 360, Released 20th Oct 2009: An in Depth Review
My Xbox 360 is by far the best game console out now. There is a variety of Xbox 360 packages being sold, so that people can choose a package that fits their price range. The Xbox 360 has some of the best graphics in a game console. Although the Nintendo Wii is currently less expensive than the 360, it graphics and game tittles line ups are a joke. The Xbox 360 has some great game titles that cannot be beat. There are plenty of reasons to buy the 360. The game line up, Xbox live and different console price ranges are some of the many reasons the Xbox 360 is ahead of the competition.
Xbox LIVE for the 360 is great. It allows you to download all kinds of content. No other console makes as easy, convenient or even have a fraction of the immense amount of content that can be obtained from LIVE. To download content all you have to do is buy some Microsoft points from almost any store and get a subscription. The subscription is only $50.00 a year. With your purchased Microsoft points you can buy a movie, extra level for your favorite games, and even purchase old revitalized arcade games, all from the comfort of your house. When you buy a movie it gets stored in your 360 hard drive and you can watch it with family and friends. LIVE is easy to use that experts gamers or beginners alike can get the hang of it right away. With LIVE you can play with friends that life around you or people around the world. It is a great way to meet people that enjoy the same games you do. LIVE allows you to interact with your friends via messages. Nintendo Wii does not even have a way to play their games online. Playstation 3 is barely building their online and it is nowhere near as great as LIVE.
There are some great games in the Xbox 360's line up. Take for instance halo 3, the new Grand Theft Auto, Assassin's Creed, and Mass Effect, to name a few. These games are not only fun but are all innovating. Take Halo 3 before its release it already had broken high sale records. Some game publishers make the same game for each system, but the Xbox 360 version is all around the best version. Sure the Nintendo Wii's version is innovating but the novelty of the controls wear off once you play the enough and notice the buttons layout does not feel comfortable or natural for to long. The Playstation 3 may boast that it has the best graphics from any system that exist but their game graphics are similar to that of the 360. The reason for this is that game publishers do not want to spend extra money or time to improve the graphics just for the Playstation 3 version of the game.
The price ranges for the Xbox 360 are great due to convenience. There are three kind of system bundles you can buy. One is the Core Bundle for $299, Premium Bundle for $399 and the Elite Bundle for $499. A person can buy the console bundle that fits their budget. The Core Console comes with system, connections, and wired control. The Premium Console comes with system, connections, 20 GB hard drive, headset, and wireless remote. The Elite Console comes with system, connections, HDMI cable, 120 GB hard drive, headset, and wireless remote. The Core Console can be upgraded to be like the rest by purchasing additional items separately. This is convenient because items are not forced on consumer. The consumer can buy additional items at their own accord. Microsoft has the different kind of consumers that can exist. Not everyone can have $499 ready to spend on a given day. For the people that do, Microsoft has the Elite System and for the people that are penny pincher's and just want the basics the Core System is great for them. Playstation 3 in the other hand sales their system at $599, forcing their consumers to get all the gadgets right away.
In conclusion the 360 is great to play with by yourself or with friends. If nobody can come over to play all you have to do is turn the 360 on and immediately start playing your favorite game on LIVE with people around the world. The 360 will be around for a long. It will be a while before another game console can top the 360. You should purchase an 360 if you want your money's worth. The other systems are decent but the 360 is great.

Panasonic announced the availability of the company’s first 64 GB and 48 GB SDXC Memory Cards. The new SDXC Memory Cards, the RP-SDW64GG1K (64 GB) and RP-SDW48GG1K (48 GB) are Panasonic’s largest-sized Gold cards with Class 10 speed specification.
Featuring new advanced Super Intelligent Controller helps to improve the reliability of the card and extend its lifetime. The new 64 GB and 48 GB SDXC Memory Cards will be globally introduced in February 2010.
SDXC is the next generation SD Memory Card, a new standard for storing data more than 32 GB and up to 2 terabytes. The Panasonic 64 GB SDXC Memory Card features a massive 64 GB of capacity, making it ideal for recording AVCHD High Definition video, high-resolution, or even RAW still photos.
When used with Panasonic’s camcorders, such as the Panasonic HDC-TM10, the 64 GB SDXC Memory Card can record up to 8 hours and 30 minutes of video, while recording in the highest video quality in HA mode. Or when recording in 1920 x 1080i in HE mode, the SDXC Memory Card can hold approximately 27 hours and 30 minutes of video.
The 48 GB SDXC Memory Card will have nearly the same capacity as a dual-layer Blu-ray Disc, and can hold 6 hours and 20 minutes of HD video content recorded in HA mode and 20 hours and 20 minutes when recorded in HE mode.
With the Class 10 speed specification and maximum data transfer speed of up to 22MB/s, the new Panasonic SDXC Memory Cards allows users to enjoy superb performance when using with an HD camcorder or a digital interchangeable lens camera, such as the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GF1, for high-speed burst shooting when taking still photos.
The 64 GB and 48 GB SDXC Memory Cards, along with other Panasonic GOLD line Memory Cards, provide longer lifetime, thanks to the adoption of Panasonic’s newly-developed Super Intelligent Controller, which evolves the current Super Intelligent Controller used in the Silver line Memory Cards.
With the new Super Intelligent Controller, flash memories are automatically refreshed with error corrections, thus preventing data damages and providing longer lifetime.
The new SDXC Memory Cards include a new technology designed to minimize accidental corruption caused by a power interruption, such as the Memory Card being removed while data is being transferred. Panasonic’s SDXC Memory Card robustness is reliable even under severe temperature condition from -25°C to 85°C.

The Panasonic AG HVX200 was released in December 2005 in NTSC format and April 2006 in Pal. It is a high definition video camera with a fixed lens. It records HD video on solid state P2 cards or DV video on MiniDV tapes.
What Is P2?
P2 is tapeless recording of DVCPRO, DVCPRO50, DVCPRO-HD, or AVC- Intra streams on a solid state flash memory card. It is a professional digital videos storage media which was introduced in 2004 by Panasonic.
One of the main advantages of P2 is that card can be used directly with your PC if a slot is available. There may be some additional drivers that need to be installed for this to work but once up and running it can save a lot of time and effort when trying to transfer the data.
The Panasonic AG HVX200 has many upgraded and additional features making it a high end camcorder for the more professional video makers. The Panasonic AG HVX200 offers an extensive menu which new users may find a little daunting, the more professional on the other hand will be amazed at what this camcorder has to offer.
Panasonic AG HVX200 Features:
Advanced gamma functions and eight gamma settings including two CineGammaTM modes and NewsGammaTM mode
Advanced image adjustments: color matrix, detail, chroma phase, color temp, knee points
Two ND filters: 1/8, 1/64

Two P2 card slots with hot swap capability
Hot swap, loop, pre-record (3 seconds in HD, 7 seconds in SD), one shot, and interval recording functions
Mini-DV tape transport for DV recording
Internal downconversion and frame rate conversion from HD source recorded on P2 cards to Mini-DV tape
True high definition image quality with low-compression DVCPRO HD intraframe recording
Multiple formats: DVCPRO HD, DVCPRO 50, DVCPRO, DV selectable
High definition recording formats: 1080/60i, 1080/24p, 1080/24pA, 1080/30p, 720p (variable frame rates)
82mm filter diameter
Two P2 card slots with hot swap capability
Hot swap, loop, pre-record (3 seconds in HD, 7 seconds in SD), one shot, and interval recording function
SD memory card slot for sharing scene files

Remote control for focus, iris control
SMPTE timecode reader/generator with timecode matching with multiple cameras via IEEE 1394

When purchasing any camcorder always ask if there are any extra items that you may need. Quite often a spare battery or case can mean the difference between getting that extra bit of film and not.
This camcorder ranges in price. It can be anything from $2000 – $5000 depending what is offered along side it or as optional extras.

Seven Awesome Gadgets to Gift the Artsy Photographer
I taken a lot of Fotos in the last days – please tell me if you like them:
Canon Kamera Online Shop Tell me if you like them – i love to discuss the photos with you!
I was staggering under the weight of wedding planning until a friend suggested I ask my photographer to make recommendations for other vendors. It was the best wedding advice I ever received.
My wedding photographer had been working the local circuit for several years. She had worked in every venue and had tasted hundreds of wedding cakes. With her eye for detail and the scope of her experience, she was a wealth of wedding information. She knew which videographers were jerks, which caterers were sloppy, and which DJ's knew how to party. She gave me a list of wedding vendors she'd worked with in the past, ones she knew could create a seamless day of wedded bliss.
Working from the photographer's list, I was able to make connections with wedding vendors whose judgment I knew could trust. When she couldn't recommend another vendor, someone else on her list could. These vendors were able to give me advice on everything from which flowers could withstand the summer heat to which color palettes looked best at my reception venue.
Combining their experience with my own ideas, I was able to create a wedding that was everything I'd dreamed of, without the hassle of interviewing five different vendors for each need. Using the photographer's recommendations I quickly put together a team of people who I already knew would work together successfully and whom I could rely on to be courteous and professional.
When deciding on a photographer, assess his or her experience and familiarity with weddings in your area. A new photographer probably won't have worked with many other vendors. A photography company with many photographers may not provide the level of personal service you could expect with a photographer in business for himself. Also, be sure that your photographer's personal style matches your own – if you're thinking of hiring an artsy photographer but desire a traditional wedding, her recommendations may not be useful in creating your dream wedding.
Once you've found a photographer you're excited to work with, start asking for advice. Find out which locations are the most romantic, what food tastes the best (photographers are usually offered a meal during the reception), and which florists create breathtaking bouquets. You may even be able to find out which wedding dress styles are most flattering in photos.
You can pay for a pricey wedding planner to find the best wedding vendors, or you can ask for personal recommendations from your photographer and spend more of your budget on that gorgeous gown.
